Day 2: Samdrup Jongkhar to Trashigang
Today we will start our journey early as we have to drive long distance through tropical to broadleaved forests, villages and varied vegetation zones. We make stops at Narphung, Wamrong, Khaling and Kanglung to interact with locals and to relax one self. Overnight in Trashigang Altitude. 3773M
Day 3: Trashigang Sightseeing
After your breakfast drive to Rangjung. Visit the Rangjung Monastery which was founded by Garab Rinpoche. Drive few miles further to explore Radhi and Phongmey Villages, which are famous for “bura” gho and kira, a textile made from raw silk. You may also meet few Brokpas, semi-nomadic people from Merak and Sakteng who have come to sale their Yak products like Yak butter, cheese and dried meat. In the evening, you will drive back to Trashigang. Overnight in Trashigang Altitude. 3773M.
Day 4: Trashigang to Mongar
Early in the morning proceed to Mongar passing through several villages. On the way you will come accross Kori La Pass (2450m) – famous spot for the avid birders, and then descend till you reach Mongar. In the evening, you can explore tiny Mongar town and .Overnight hotel in Mongar. Overnight in Trashigang Altitude. 1620M
Day 5: Mongar to Lhuntse
After breakfast, drive to Lhuentse a remote district of Bhutan which is famous for its intricate and colorful weavings. The landscape is spectacular with stark cliffs, gorges and dense coniferous forests. Explore Khoma Village to see women weaving. Later in the evening, you will drive back to Autsho for overnight stay in hotel. Overnight in Trashigang Altitude. 1400M
Day 6: Lhuntse to Bumthang
Early in the morning after your breakfast you will begin your journey to central Bhutan, which is 6 hours drive, through the Thrumshing La (pass), 3,750 meters. Stop for your picnic lunch at the Pass enjoying the great sceneries around. Visit burning lake on the way and Continue your drive and check in the hotel. Overnight in Bunthang Altitude. 2650M
Day 7: Bumthang
Early morning visit Bumthang Dzong, Janbay Lhakhang the one of the first 2 Buddhist temples built in the country. This is the home of the naked dance that is still performing annually.Visit Kurjey Temple, the site where royals are cremated. Walk from suspension bridge and photo session. Explore Swiss farm house. Evening stroll in Jakar town and try some local pancake and noodles. Overnight in Jakar Altitude 2650m.
Day 8: Bumthang to Phubjikha
Today we will have an early departure for the lengthy drive to Phobjikhakha, valley of black necked cranes. On the way we will visit Trongsa Dzong and meusum. Upon entering the Phubjikha valley we will pay homage to Gangtey Gonpa and do Gangtey natural trail which is 2 hours hike. Overnight in Phobjikha, altitude 2900m.
Day 9: Phubjikha to Punakha
After breakfast, drive towards to Punakha, Still we have winter seat of the Je Khenpo and the central Monk Body. Check in the hotel. After lunch drive to the north of Punakha.We will hike to Khamsum Yulay Namgyal Chorten, which will take about 45 mins to reach on the top. After returning back we will do rafting. Overnight in Punakha, Altitude 1350m.
Day 10: Punakha to Thimphu
In the morning check out from the hotel and visit Punakha Dzong and nearby suspension bridge. On the way hike another 20-minutes to Chime Lhakhang, or popularly known as temple of fertility built in memory of Drukpa Kuenley “Divine Madman”. Continue your Journey through Dochula Pass and enjoying stunning views of the Himalayas. Evening explore Thimphu city by walk Overnight in Thimphu. Altiude 2400M.
Day 11: Thimphu Sightseeing
Check out from the hotel after your delicious breakfast and drive to north end of Thimphu valley and hike to Cheri Goenpa. The hike takes about 45 mins one way to reach the temple and trail passes through beautiful cantilever bridge and forest creating the chance to see birds and wild animals’ sometime. This is the monastery where the first monastic body was established in the Kingdom. Lunch at river side and back to city for sightseeing. visit National Memorial Chorten which was built in memory of our third King. Textile museum, folk heritage museum and nearby panting school. Evening we will visit Thimphu Dzong. Overnight in Thimphu. Altiude 2400M.
Day 12: Thimphu to Paro
After breakfast visit mini takin zoo and Buddha point. After that continue your drive to Paro with stop en route at Chhuzom (confluence) of Thimphu and Paro rivers. After lunch, sightseeing in Paro includes the Rimpung Dzong and National Museum. From here, you will be taken to Kichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and the most sacred shrine in the country. In evening, enjoy small Paro town. Overnight in Paro Altitude 2200m.
Day 13: Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery
Conclude your stay in Bhutan by hiking to the Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) monastery, the most famous pilgrim site, which clings to the rock at 3180m. According to the legend, it is believed that Guru Rimpoche, the 8th century Spiritual Master, flew to this location on the back of a tigress to meditate. Lunch will be served at Cafeteria Restaurant halfway up on the mountain. Explore the monastery and hike back to Paro.
Day 14: Paro to Haa Excretion
Check out from the hotel after our delicious breakfast and drive to Haa valley through Chelela pass 3988m.Visit Haa town and Dzong. After lunch we will hike Chele La Pass hike 2hrs.Evening Explore tiny Paro town. Overnight in Paro Altitude 2200m.
Day 15: Departure
The tour will end today. After the breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight. Carry smile on your face, eyes with tears and memories unlimited. Tour staffs will bid you farewell at the airport departure gate with the quick prayer of save journey and to see you again in future.
- What is the cost for the trip and what type of accommodation do you provide?
Ans; The Daily Cost for peak season (March, April, May, September, October and November) is USD 250 per person per night and lean Season (December, January, February, June, July and August) USD 200 per person per night. The above cost includes minimum very good 3 Star Hotels with 3 times meal a day, Government’s Sustainable Development Fee $65 per night per person and taxes, good licensed guide, private car & driver and entry fees.
- What Additional Payment do I need to pay?
Ans: Bhutan Visa Fees USD 40 per person
- If you are single traveler you have to pay additional USD 40 per night per person as Surcharge
- And if you are two travelers you have to pay additional USD 30 per night per person as Surcharge and more than 2 travelers no need to pay surcharge.
3. What documents are required for the Visa and how many days is required to approve Visa?
Ans; We just need your clear passport copy for the Visa. It takes 4 to 5 working days to approve it. Bhutan Visa is approved by government of Bhutan upon receiving the full tour payment from you. Bhutan Travel Organiser team will do on behalf of you.

Ans; You will have to book your trip at least two months prior to your arrival if you are travelling in a group more than 6 people in peak seasons since we have very limited good hotels and limited flight seats.
